"The paintings and drawings have a fine relief surface formed from a dry particle compound that operates somewhat like a fluid with a strong cymatic urge to construct vibration-induced formations. Varying degrees of controlled forces and drawing interventions are applied to this surface, engaging and enacting with its material behaviour. These forces set up frequencies that result in implied figural elements and natural phenomena that evoke scans, lunar photographs and other such photomechanical processes of landforms, sky, water and micro genetic structures. These works are in sympathy with the most fundamental enactments of matter as they enter into the play and behaviour of particles at that critical point between inanimate particle colonisation and implied genetic construction.

Images of terrains appear to be unrelated to our physical scale, uninhabitable, inaccessible, experientially macro / microscopic.... "
